Integrative Breathwork Therapy (IBT) is an alternative approach to treating depression and anxiety. IBT teaches uninhibited breathing, relaxation and the application of mindfulness to somatic experience. The approach integrates somatic experience normally outside of conscious awareness. An Integrative Breathwork Therapy session generally produces profound relaxation, clarity, and a positive emotional state.

Results are feeling less bound by burdens of the past and an increased ability to remain comfortably in contact with moment-to-moment experience, is often reported as benefits by those who have experienced IBT. This can result in a new perception of self and the world. Integrative Breathwork Therapy provides a gently yet powerful approach to healing and deepening of self awareness. This is a 1 1/2 hour face to face session. Bring comfy clothes as the session will require you to be in a comfortable position on your back. The three key elements of IBT is conscious connected breathing, relaxation and mindfulness. The breathing component of the session takes 1 hour to complete so we will spend 15 minutes discussing your hopes for IBT and how to actively breathe through out the hour, then 15 minutes after to debrief on your experience during the session. We will also be utilizing a Breathwork Impact Measure pre and post session to capture what you have noticed through the sessions. 10 sessions are ideal in receiving the full benefit of IBT as it allows you to bring up somatic experiences that were previously avoided or suppressed by allowing you to observe it, process it and integrate it. The result is greater emotional, mental and behavioural flexibility.

This counselling service is available in person for $840.00 for 10 session paid upfront or $90.00 each session. Paying upfront gives you $60.00 in savings.
