Effortless Action Counselling
Welcome—my name is Christina, and I’m the counsellor behind Effortless Action, a private practice based in Forest Lake, a peaceful suburb in Brisbane’s southwest. I work alongside my two gentle therapy dogs, Evie and Tulip, whose calming presence helps create a warm, grounded space where healing and growth can unfold.
The name Effortless Action is inspired by the Taoist principle of Wu Wei—a way of being that flows naturally, in harmony with the world around us. It’s not about passivity, but about discovering the most authentic, sustainable path forward—like the ebb and flow of the ocean. My goal is to help you reconnect with your own natural rhythm so that change feels less like struggle and more like alignment.

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed (usually with a happy tail wag) by Evie and Tulip. Their presence is more than comforting—it’s transformative. Animals live fully in the moment, gently inviting us to do the same. They teach us to slow down, pay attention, and open ourselves to connection—with the natural world, with others, and with ourselves.
Dogs embody unconditional positive regard—a core value in my counselling approach—and mirror our emotions in a way that often brings clarity and comfort. In their presence, many people feel more at ease, more human, and more whole.
If you’re ready to explore what’s already working in your life—and how to gently build from there—I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.
